Members of the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce “mobbed” the offices of the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, located at 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 17, Nov. 19. In addition to information on local and state tourism, the CVB offices are home to the Top Shop gift shop, featuring products made by local crafters and other businesses, as well as the Summit Art Gallery, where artwork by local artists is put on display for viewing and purchase. The Cash Mob program was launched by the chamber in 2021 as part of its efforts to support the local business community. Participants gather at a predetermined time to shop at each of the selected businesses.
