Evelyn Miller, 9, and Gabe Wolfram, 7, sported face paint and crafts celebrating Pentecost during a free, multi-denominational festival held along North Street in Steubenville. Pentecost is a Christian holiday commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles of Jesus, according to Christian scripture. Assisted by volunteers, the festival offered music, food, games, crafts and fellowship to all, and participants lead the "Our Father" in multiple languages during the event. Organizer Andrew Carpenter said he hopes to host the festival yearly. — Christopher Dacanay
