Lane restriction extended
BEECH BOTTOM -- The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced 49 Hill Road will continue to be reduced to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday while crews install fiber optic lines.
Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during the project, which is expected to be completed on May 14.
Drivers should approach the area with caution and be prepared for delays.
Brooke roads to be patched
The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced crews will be patching Putney Ridge Road in Colliers and Pierce Run Road in Wellsburg in the near future.
Drivers should expect delays.
Brooke High School to present musical
WELLSBURG -- Brooke High School will present the musical comedy, "The Addams Family: The School Edition" at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in the school's auditorium.
Admission is $10 per person, which may be paid at the door.
