Members of Steubenville City Council honored two student-athletes for their achievements on the wrestling mat. On hand for the recognition were, from left, were, Fifth Ward Councilman and Steubenville High School Principal Ted Gorman; coach Jamie Weaver; Talea Guntrum and Brody Saccoccia; head coaches Lucas Huffman and Eliana Paterra; and coach Garrett Cook. Guntrum posted a 38-0 career record with 50 takedowns and 35 pins and scored a first-place finish in the 110-pound division at the state tournament. Saccoccia, ranked 16th nationally at 150 pounds by SportsIllustrated.com and an Academic All-Ohio, earned his first state wrestling title in the Division II, 150-pound class and third All-Ohioan label.
