Closing on Island Creek Township Road 383
STEUBENVILLE -- A portion of Island Creek Township Road 383 (Seven Creeks Road) will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Friday, the Jefferson County Engineer’s Office has announced.
The road will be closed one-third of a mile north of the intersection with county Road 43 (Ross Ridge-Alikanna Road) while crews complete a bridge replacement project.

STEUBENVILLE -- Next week’s schedule for the Jefferson County Highway Department includes:
• Tree trimming: County Roads 51 (Hollow Rock Road) and 61 (Amsterdam-Wolf Run Road)
• Paving: County Roads 23 (Bloomingdale-Smithfield Road) and 15 (Warren Ridge-Smithfield-Rayland Road)
• Small bridge replacement: Island Creek Township Road 383 (Seven Creeks Road)
• Bridge closed: Springfield Township Road 309A
• Berming: County Road 23 (Bloomingdale-Smithfield Road)
• Ditching: Various roads
• Bridge replacement: County Road 49 (Elkhorn Road)
• Landslide-slip repair: County Road 26 (Fernwood Road at Dogtown Hill, closed until further notice)
Miscellaneous road closings will be announced.
