More than 500 high school students from Jefferson, Harrison and Columbiana counties attended this year's Countywide Career Fair Wednesday morning at the St. Florian Event Center in Wintersville. Organized by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce's Workforce Training and Education Committee, the career fair featured 85 vendors from across the Tri-State Area. Students attending the event came from Steubenville, Toronto, Buckeye Local, Edison, Harrison Central, Indian Creek, Jefferson County Board of Developmental Disabilities' School of Bright Promise, Jefferson County Christian School, Steubenville Catholic Central, Jefferson County Joint Vocational School and Southern Local. Chamber officials stated this is the second year for the career fair and they are hoping to continue with the event next year. — Julie Stenger
