Fort Steuben Concert Series sets schedule

STEUBENVILLE — The schedule has been set for this year’s Fort Steuben Concert Series at the Berkman Amphitheater at Fort Steuben Park.
Twelve evenings of music have been scheduled for late spring and summer, organizers have announced.
While the majority of the performances are set for Thursday evenings, special holiday concerts are set for Memorial Day and Independence Day. All shows will begin at 7 p.m.
The schedule includes:
— May 29, Memorial Day: Shades of Blue;
— June 1: Two Friends Trio and the Jaggerz;
— June 8: 40 Plus and Magic Moments;
— June 15: Bob Morelli and Dr. Zoot;
— June 22: Silver Springs: Fleetwood Mac Experience and Bon Journey;
— June 29: Aftermath: Experience the 1960s;
— July 4: Roz & Lynn, the Ron Retzer Trio and Eli and the Mojo Kings, followed by Steubenville’s annual Independence Day fireworks spectacular at 9:30 p.m.;
— July 6: Bailey Taylor and Bill Toms and Hard Rain;
— July 13: 7 South and Eldorado;
— July 20: Soulful Femme Band and Soul Skool;
— July 27: Pocket Change and Mark Eddy and MVP; and
— Aug. 3: The Traveling Witkowskis and New Pure Gold.
The schedule is subject to change, organizers said, adding that while there is no charge for admission, donations always are appreciated.
