More than 100 people turned out for Monday's town hall meeting on "Thriving Through Eliminating Addiction," which was held at the Sycamore Youth and Community Center, 301 N. Fourth St., Steubenville. It was organized by Bobbyjon Bauman of Steubenville, president of the Ohio Valley Youth Network and the center's founder and director, and Robin Leasure of Toronto, who is director of nursing at New Day Recovery, a detox center in Rogers, Ohio. The event included comments from U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Marietta, a roundtable discussion, a question-and-answer session and resource information.
