WEIRTON — The Weirton Community Players production of “The Princess and the Pea” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20-22 and 3 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Milton J. Weinberg Theater at Weir High School, 100 Red Rider Road.

The classic fairy tale begins with Prince Nicholas preparing for his royal nuptials. But there’s a problem — overbearing Queen Minerva insists on testing any girl who wants to marry her son, and not one is able to gain her approval. King Reginald loses his patience, the trusty court jester searches for the right bride and the even-tempered chamber maid comforts her childhood friend, the Prince.
