Steubenville Police Thoughtless: A Scioto Drive resident said a neighbor is intentionally blowing grass clippings and dirt in her yard when he mows, Tuesday. She said when she tried talking about it, he “told her that he was not going to change how he mowed the lawn.” Police tried to speak with him but were unsuccessful. Rode away: Employees at Walmart said a man took the bus to the mall and “immediately walked to the bike section (and) walked the bike out of the store without paying for it,” Tuesday. Steubenville Police A warrant has been issued for a Weirton man who allegedly fled police trying to pull him over to serve felony warrants already issued for his arrest, Monday. Police report the driver ignored their emergency lights and siren, eventually pulling over at the intersection of Ridge Avenue at McDowell and as soon as the officer exited his cruiser said he “took off at a high rate of speed,” nearly striking another vehicle in the intersection, “reaching speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour” on Woodlawn Road.
