Steubenville Police Cheating hearts: A woman reported a disturbance in the 3100 block of Central Avenue, Tuesday. Police said the woman, who was intoxicated, told them she’d been drinking with a male friend and they started arguing about a civil matter involving another individual and claims at one point the male “grabbed her by the front of her shirt, causing her necklace to break” so she “grabbed a dog leash and hit him (with it).” He fled on foot, bleeding, and tried to flag a passing ambulance down, police said. She said she was standing in her doorway and wanted to know who she was texting, and when she told him she said he “grabbed her by the shirt and … punched her in the mouth,” before grabbing his things and leaving the residence.
