Steubenville Police Road rage reported: A motorist allegedly involved in what was described as a road rage incident on Sunset Boulevard near the midtown Speedway “where one of the drivers brandished a firearm” was taken into custody Sunday. Mingo Council adjusts meeting schedule MINGO JUNCTION — Village Council has had to adjust its meeting schedule for the month of April. Mayor Judy Ruckman said council normally meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month but two council members won’t be available on those dates and a third, who resigned, has not been replaced. “This month only, meetings will be April 7 and April 21,” she said. Police Beat Jefferson County Drug Task Force Man charged after search – A Mingo Junction man was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on felony drug charges after detectives with the Jefferson County Drug Task Force searched his home Thursday. Joseph W. Francis, 39, of 132 Garfield Ave., was booked without bond on charges of possessing fentanyl and crack cocaine. Police said they seized 94 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl and two grams believed to be crack cocaine.
