Charged: Reginald D. Johnson, 47, 136 S. Fifth St., Steubenville, malicious assault causing injury, Thursday. A woman known to Johnson told police she raised her hands to block a glass Johnson had thrown at her, causing it to shatter and cut her wrist. The woman was transported for treatment of her injuries.

Had enough: A city resident said a woman is showing up at her residence, uninvited and unannounced, and causing problems for a male friend who has been spending time with her, Sunday. She said she's not sure where their relationship stands, but during the weekend the woman showed up and spit on the man, so he hit her. She said the woman drives past her residence in her own car yelling things like, "I'll be back and "you'll see me again," and has sent her photos that raised concern fo the male's health and safety as well as the perpetrator. In one photo she said the woman had a gun pointed at her own head, in the other it's pointed at the back of the male's head. She's going to pursue a protection order.
Paid: The owner of a vehicle parked illegally, blocking a driveway in the 1600 block of Oregon Avenue, decided to move it after the tow truck arrived, Sunday. The vehicle owner paid the driver's call out fee and moved it to a legal parking space.
Assault: A woman parked at the gas pumps at a downtown station told police she and another woman argued, Sunday. She said the other woman punched her in the face, causing her foot to slip off the brake and her vehicle drifted backward and struck a pole.
Listen up: A Follansbee man who fled while being treated at Trinity Medical Center West after being warned he'd face additional charges did it anyway, police said. James Carr, 52, 559 Mahan Lane, was charged with felony escape in addition to the felony burglary charge filed against him, they said. While they were searching for Carr, police said a Wilma Avenue resident flagged them down and reported an individual had just entered her home, but when they searched it he wasn't there. He was spotted a few minutes later walking on Lincoln Avenue and taken into custody, police said.
Threats: A city resident said she and a friend were walking to a gas station in the vicinity of South Seventh Street when a man who's harassed her before threatened to kill her, Saturday. She said he was sitting on an old couch behind a garage off of South Seventh Street and claimed he'd previously started an argument with her on a city bus. Police searched the area, but he was nowhere to be found.
