Jefferson County sheriff
Invitation only: A Bellaire woman who insisted on going to her former fiancé’s house to retrieve the rest of her belongings even though she’d been told she would need his permission or a court order claimed he head-butted her during an altercation on his porch, Friday.
Kicked: Wintersville residents say someone kicked their front door twice overnight, leaving two boot prints then drove away blaring their horn, Saturday. They said a vehicle drove past their home two nights prior sounding the horn, but that time didn’t stop. They believe an estranged family member from out-of-town might be responsible for both incidents.
Missing: A blue Harley Davidson was reported missing from the residence of a man who recently passed away, Sunday. The bike had been chained to a truck outside the home and was kept between the truck and a retaining wall. The handlebars were locked so it could not be rolled straight back without the key and his girlfriend said she was the only one with the key to the lock, but a man in Shadyside had a key to the motorcycle. She said her boyfriend’s son would contact deputies to report the motorcycle stolen.

Cited: William James Beall, 38, 246 Mill Road, Smithfield, driving under suspension, fictitious registration and speeding.
Steubenville police
Flipped: A Kendall Avenue resident wanted a man removed from her residence, Sunday. When police arrived the man had fled, but not before flipping furniture over in her living room and bedroom and tossing her belongings on the floor.
Trashed: Residents in the 200 block of N. Commercial Alley were arguing over their garbage, Sunday. A downstairs tenants said she told her upstairs neighbors not to leave their trash by her door due to bug infestation problems, police said. All three residents were told to stay away from each other, police said.
Suspicious: Callers reported a male with a backpack checking door handles in the 600 block of N. Fifth Street, Sunday. He couldn’t be located when police arrived.
Hit-skip: A driver stopped at the intersection of Third and Market streets said his car was rear-ended by a silver sedan that kept going, Sunday.
Booked: William S. Horvat, 55, 4729 Jacobs St., Wheeling, possession of drugs (F5), two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of drugs and a warrant, Sunday.
Cited: Amed P. Hernandez, 31, Alvin, Texas, red light violation.
