Greek Fall Fest coming Monday

By Staff reports 1 min read

STEUBENVILLE -- Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church invites the community to enjoy authentic Greek food and pastries during its Greek Fall Fest, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19.

This year, Holy Trinity has intentionally chosen a Monday for the Fall Fest. With many local restaurants traditionally closed on Mondays, the church hopes to offer the community another convenient and delicious dining option for the day--and an opportunity to enjoy Greek specialties that aren’t available every day.

The menu will feature a selection of traditional Greek favorites prepared by members of the Holy Trinity community, including lamb stew, loukaniko (Greek sausage), spanakopita, rice pilaf and Greek-style green beans.

Guests also can enjoy an assortment of Greek desserts, including baklava, almond cookies with apricot filling, ekmek kataifi and diples.

The fall festival will be offered through prepaid orders only, allowing guests to place their orders in advance and conveniently pick them up on the day of the event.

Online ordering is now open at holytrinitygreekfest.com. Quantities are limited, and early ordering is encouraged.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is located at 300 S. Fourth St.
