Fields of Faith coming to Harding Stadium

By From STAFF REPORTS 2 min read

STEUBENVILLE -- Young people from across the Ohio Valley will gather at Harding Stadium on Oct. 25, for FCA Fields of Faith, a youth-led community event beginning at 6 p.m.

The free event is open to all ages, including students, adults, families, coaches, teachers, churches and youth groups.

Last year’s gathering drew 450 people. This year’s featured guest speaker will be J.R. Lawrence Lewis. Area high school and middle school Fellowship of Christian Athletes student leaders will share testimonies about their faith in Jesus Christ.

The evening will combine those student testimonies with music, dance and mime performances, featuring local talent and several Valley’s Got Talent winners. Scheduled participants include Evan Conn; the Next Level Community Youth Group Choir and Mime Team; Lawrence Lewis; Dance Force Elite, featuring Lynzee Ensell and Dalana Bove; Lydia Battistel; Elisha Fletcher; Destiny Angelucci; and Madyson Gruszecki and Jovie Kelly.

Fields of Faith gives young people an opportunity to encourage their peers, share their experiences and challenge one another to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ. Although youth lead the event, organizers encourage adults and the wider community to attend and support the students.

Churches and youth groups are invited to attend together, and community members are encouraged to bring friends and family.
