Members of the The Mutual Benevolent Society of Joseph Garibaldi helped to kick off a parade in Follansbee Saturday afternoon, held as part of the return of the community's festival in celebration of the lodge's 100th anniversary. The celebration included live music Friday and Saturday, along with food and more on Broad Street located next to the lodge building, as well as a 5K in the city's downtown Saturday morning. The festivities were a Follansbee staple for many years, before being put on hold in 2004.
