Members of Church Women United, Weirton, held their welcome back from summer meeting Friday at Eat ‘n Park in Weirton. Eleven women participated from five of six churches. Discussion included setting up conference calls on Sept. 4 and Oct. 9; setting meetings for UNICEF collection; World Community Day; Christmas celebration; World Day of Prayer and May Friendship Day. The next meeting will be the conference call at 11 a.m. Sept. 4.
