EAST SPRINGFIELD -- The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held a two-lady blind scramble July 16 at Spring Hills Golf Course.
The first-place team was Signa Findlay and Cathy Jackson; second place was Vicki Brozka and Debbie Hendricks; and third place was Megan Evans and Rose Kaczmarek.
The longest drive winner on No. 2 for A Flight was Veronica Foldi; and B Flight, Cathy Jackson. On No. 6, the longest drive for A Flight was Megan Evans; B Flight, Debbie Hendricks; and C Flight, Rose Kaczmarek.
Closest to the pin on No. 4 were Evans, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Kaczmarek, C Flight.
Findlay had low putts with 14. Brozka had a chip in on No. 4 for a birdie.
Monday Night League
HOOKSTOWN, Pa. -- The women on the Monday Night Ladies League played the front nine at Ponderosa Golf Course on Monday.
The play of the day was N.O.S.E. Kathy Newburn was the winner of the game and scored a birdie on No. 7. Veronica Foldi and Laura Froehlich tied for second place.
Tammy Koutskey had the long drive on No. 3 as well as a chip in on No. 8. Denise Augustine was closest to the pin on second shot on No. 5. Yuko Atwell had a chip in on hole No .8 and won the prize for low putts.
