HOOKSTOWN, Pa. -- The women of the Monday Night Ladies League on Monday played the back nine at Poderosa Golf Course.
The play of the day was a scramble. The winning team was Brenda Hartley, Denise Augustine and Laura Froehlich. The winners of the skill prizes were Tammy Jackson for long drive on hole No.13, and Tammy Koutsky who won the prize for closest to the pin on the second shot.
Town and Country
EAST SPRINGFIELD -- The Town and Country Ladies League played a scramble on June 28. Some teams were mae up of two players, some had three and some had four players.
The winning team was made up of Jennie Epifano and Toni Dondzila. The second-place team players were Marilyn Crew, Abbey Wilson and Diane Vandine. The third-place team was Cathy Jackson, Veronica Foldi and Shirley Guida, which was tied with team of Kathy Antinone, Debbie Hendricks and Linda Staffilino.
Long drives on No. 2 belonged to: A-flight, Epifano; B-flight, Vandine; and C-flight, Guida.
Long drives on No. 6 belonged to: A-flight, Foldi, B-flight, Hendricks; and C-flight, Dondzila.
