New Books Available at Steubenville Library
STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has added several new fiction titles to its collection, including “Restless Bones” by Gillian French, “Whisper Creek” by Allison Brennan, “The Tree of Light and Flowers” by Thomas Perry and “Blaze of Glory” by Diana Palmer.
“Restless Bones” follows Shaw Connolly as she investigates a murder after a missing woman’s body is discovered in a submerged vehicle. In “Whisper Creek,” Ellen McKenna works to save her Texas farm after the death of her husband. “The Tree of Light and Flowers” follows Jane Whitefield as she faces a return to her dangerous past after a life-changing accident. “Blaze of Glory” tells the story of John Everett, a rancher who finds unexpected love after heartbreak.
The library also announced the following Bookmobile schedule: Monday, July 27, at Prime Time on Lovers Lane from 11 a.m. to noon, the North End Neighborhood from 2-3 p.m. and the South End Neighborhood from 3-4 p.m.; Tuesday, July 28, at Carriage Inn at 11 a.m., Heritage Village at 11:15 a.m., Meridian Greene at 12:15 p.m. and Dixon Health Care at 12:30 p.m.; Wednesday, July 29, for home deliveries at 8 a.m. and the Mingo Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m.; Thursday, July 30, at the Bloomingdale Neighborhood, 814 Township Road 217, from 4:30-5:30 p.m.; and Friday, July 31, at the Sycamore Center Food Drive from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Ohio University Announces Spring 2026 President's List Honorees
ATHENS -- Ohio University has recognized undergraduate students who achieved the highest level of academic excellence during the spring 2026 semester by naming them to the President's List.
The President's List honors undergraduate students who earn a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours of letter-graded coursework used to calculate GPA.
Approximately 2,400 Ohio University undergraduate students qualified for the Spring 2026 President's List.

ATHENS -- Ohio University has recognized undergraduate students who achieved academic success during the spring 2026 semester by naming them to the Dean's List.
The Dean's List recognizes undergraduate students who complete a semester with a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.999 while completing at least 12 credit hours of letter-graded coursework used to calculate GPA.
Approximately 6,800 Ohio University undergraduate students qualified for the Spring 2026 Dean's List.

ATHENS -- Ohio University has recognized part-time undergraduate students who achieved academic success during the spring 2026 semester by naming them to the Provost's List.
The Provost's List recognizes high-achieving, part-time undergraduate students who earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while completing between six and 11.99 credit hours of letter-graded coursework used to calculate GPA.
Approximately 2,300 part-time undergraduate students qualified for the Spring 2026 Provost's List.
