LIBRARY BOARD TO MEET JUNE 9 IN STEUBENVILLE
STEUBENVILLE — The Board of Trustees for the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Main Library, 407 South Fourth St., Steubenville.
Residents who wish to speak during the public comment period must sign up by noon Monday, June 8, by visiting or calling the Main Library at 740-282-9782.
AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD SETS JUNE 8 MEETING
WINTERSVILLE — The Board of Trustees of the Jefferson County Regional Airport Authority will meet in regular session at 3 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, in the Gary R. Folden Conference Room at the Jefferson County Airpark terminal, 600 Airpark Drive, Wintersville.
CAPITAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS NAMED TO PRESIDENT’S LIST
BEXLEY — Capital University has announced its President’s List honorees for the spring 2026 semester.
Students earning the distinction include Raegan Dobbs and Ethan Shaddinger, both of Steubenville.
The President’s List recognizes full-time, degree-seeking students who achieve a grade-point average of at least 3.85, the highest academic honor at the university.
Capital University also recognizes students through its Provost’s List and Dean’s List for additional levels of academic achievement.
TORONTO RESIDENT EARNS DEGREE
CEDARVILLE — Toronto resident Chloe Barnette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University.
Barnette was among students recognized for spring 2026 commencement at the private evangelical university in southwest Ohio. Cedarville University enrolls more than 7,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs across arts, sciences and professional fields.
The university reports strong graduation and retention rates and is ranked among the nation’s top evangelical universities.
