The Steubenville Rotary Club presented $500 scholarships to members of area Interact clubs. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Laila Reed of Steubenville High School, Rotary Club President Jim Baber, Chelsea Channels of the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School and Karlie Nese of Catholic Central High School. Students were nominated by club advisers and members based on leadership shown through the year. Interact clubs are open to students between the ages of 12 and 18. The Steubenville Rotary Club meets at noon on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the JeffCo Event Center, and at 7:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Eat ‘n Park at the Fort Steuben Mall.
