Local artist Tom Ott featured at Lewisburg art walk

Contributed ARTIST FEATURED —The work of Follansbee artist Tom Ott is featured in a Lewisburg exhibit.

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Local artist Tom Ott of Follansbee was recognized as a featured artist during the art walk held on May 8 at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. The event drew a strong community turnout and celebrated regional creativity through exhibitions, live interaction with artists, and an evening dedicated to the arts in downtown Lewisburg.

Ott’s work received enthusiastic attention from visitors throughout the evening. Known for his distinctive high-poly artistic style, Ott’s collection combined bold geometric structure, layered color and emotional storytelling inspired by Appalachian heritage, industrial landscapes and contemporary American culture. Guests responded positively to both the visual impact and thematic depth of the exhibition.

“Being selected as a featured artist at Carnegie Hall was truly an honor,” said Tom Ott. “The support from the community and the conversations shared during the Art Walk made the experience incredibly meaningful.”

The art walk continues to serve as one of the region’s important cultural events, bringing together artists, collectors and visitors to celebrate the growing arts community in southern West Virginia. Ott’s participation highlighted the strength and originality of local Appalachian artists working in contemporary forms. The exhibition is open to the public through the end of June.

Following the success of the exhibition, Ott plans to continue expanding his portfolio and participating in future regional exhibitions and public art opportunities.
