Toronto Seniors meet
TORONTO — The Toronto Senior Citizens met April 16 at the Karaffa Recreation Center enjoying a spring theme.
President John Livingstone welcomed the members in attendance, called the meeting to order and stated that the trip to Lancaster has been canceled.

The kitchen committee was thanked for its help in making the evening special.
Ballots and voting for this year’s officers were handed out and collected, counted and the results: President John Livingstone; Vice President Karen Thornton; Secretary Peggy Miller; Treasurer Patty Smith; Assistant Treasurer Vickie Ziegler; Social Secretary Peggy Ziarko;; Chaplain Arlene Obertance and Parliamentarian Lynette Pearce
Treasurer: Patty Smith gave her report Arlene Obertance accepted the report. The 50-50 winner was Peggy Miller, and the big basket went to Joyce Zimmerman.
Bingo winners were Mary Kay Petras, Deana Starr, Karen Krause, Chris Sklener, Arlene Zahniser, Mary Lou Sutton, Bobbie Kolts, Marlene Dunn and Pat Richardson.
International Seniors meet
WEIRTON — The International Senior Club met on April 14 at Undo’s in Weirton. Patty Coppa led the prayer and blessing. Gabriel Arlia led the Pledge of Allegiance followed by members singing God Bless America. A buffet dinner and desserts were enjoyed by the members.
Liz Beecroft introduced guest, Elaine Briceland and new member Marlene Cruz. President Regina Truax opened with a moment of silence for former member Mary Salatino who recently passed away. Rita Orler, secretary, read the minutes and they were approved as read. In absence of the treasurer, Truax gave the treasurer’s report which was approved and filed for audit. There was no business to report, but members are asked to wear their favorite team sport shirt at the May meeting.
Happy Birthday was sung to the April members, Barbara Guglielmo, Liz Beecroft, Shirley Kiraly, Gene Viola, Bucky Sims and Faye Jones. Happy Anniversary was sung to Debbie and Gary Bonuto, 48 years, and Dolores and Leonard Ginier, 70 years. Liz Beecroft and Rena Konkle gave the jokes of the day.
The following bus tours were announced 2026 tours include June 13, Sugarcreek; July 17, Hartsville Marketplace and Flee Market, Hartsville; July 21, Meadows Hollywood Casino, Washington, Pa.; June 28, “Legally Blonde,” Lincoln Park Performing Arts, Midland, Pa.; Aug. 19-21, Joshua, Sights and Sound Theater, Lancaster, Pa.; Sept.23-25, Seneca Resorts and Casino, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and Oct. 4-10, Branson Show Extravaganza, Mo. (six shows and 10 meals.)

The 50/50 was won by Linda Phabe. The Undo’s gift certificates were won by Patty Coppa and Regina Truax. Door prizes were won by Carl Truax, Debbie Bonuto, Ruth Masters, Dolores LaRosa, Cindy Richards and Dolores Ginier. A table card game was played and five household prizes were awarded at each table.
