Planning Commission meeting canceled

WEIRTON — This month’s regular meeting of the Weirton Planning Commission, which had been set for Wednesday, has been canceled because of a lack of agenda items.

Christian Mothers Card Party set

WEIRTON — St. Joseph Christian Mothers has scheduled its card party for May 3 at St. Joseph the Worker Grade School’s gymnasium, with doors to open at 1 p.m.

The event will begin at 2 p.m., with tickets at $10 each. To purchase tickets, call Barbara Raynolds at (304) 723-9772. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of a check made to St. Joseph Christian Mothers and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Tickets also will be available at St. Joseph the Worker Church April 18-19.

Door prize donations may be dropped off at the church office until April 30.

Revival service planned

STEUBENVILLE — Rosemont Chapel Church is having revival services April 23-26, with nightly services at 6 p.m., and Sunday morning service at 11 a.m.

Guest evangelist will be the Rev. Bud Allman.

Rosemont Chapel is located at 23 Williams Blvd., Steubenville.

Railroaders set meeting

CALCUTTA — All retired and active railroaders are invited to attend the monthly meeting of NARVRE at 11 a.m. April 23 at JP’s Pizzeria, 15946 state Route 170.
