City school board to meet
STEUBENVILLE — The Steubenville Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be held in the board office, 611 N. Fourth St.
EHS Drama Club to take the stage
RICHMOND — The Edison High School Drama Club will bring E.B. White’s classic tale to the stage with a presentation of “Charlotte’s Web” on March 20-21.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the curtain to rise at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased the night of each performance and cost $8 for adults with $5 for students and senior citizens, but they are free for seniors with an Edison Pass.
Drama Club Adviser David Schultz said the cast features 24 actors with 13 members on the stage crew. Rounding out the cast are Gianna Zimmerman as Charlotte, Leila Cable as Wilbur, Ronin Hartman as Homer Zuckerman, Michelle Davis as Fern Arable, Dominic Grim as Templeton, and Madeline Granatir as the first chorus member while senior Maiah Christy will serve as lead stage manager with fellow seniors Destony Grimm acting as assistant stage manager and Elizabeth Booher as prop master.
Spring revival services at Finley
STEUBENVILLE — Finley Church, at 958 Lincoln Ave. will hold revival services with Caleb Friedeman and worship leader Saundra Grigsby Friday through Sunday.
The services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
Friedeman is a Wesleyan pastor-theologian dedicated to teaching, preaching and writing in service to the church. He serves as David A. Case Chair of Biblical Studies and associate research professor of New Testament at Ohio Christian University. Friedeman is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, and he preaches and teaches regularly at camps, churches and conferences.
Grigsby is from Green, Ohio. She serves as the worship leader at New Franklin Global Methodist Church. Grigsby grew up in East Liverpool, where she attended Boyce United Methodist Church. She attended Asbury College, where she minored in music. Friedeman also will lead a Bible study at 9 a.m. Saturday concerning Family Discipleship.
The services are open to everyone. Childcare will be provided at each service.
Annual program set at Shiloh
WEIRTON — The annual Praise is What I Do program will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Shiloh Apostolic Faith Assembly Church at 3000 Weir Ave.
Various talents will be displayed with participants from Steubenville, Weirton and Wheeling. Dinner will be served from 2:45 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Rebecca Turner serves as program coordinator. Bishop D.W. Cummings is pastor. This event is open to the public.
St. Paul fish frys continue
WEIRTON — Fish frys are continuing at St. Paul Church. The events feature Coleman’s fried fish and McCains fries. Options include baked fish, shrimp, haluski, cole slaw and macaroni and cheese. The events continue every Friday through March 28 and on April 1.
School calendar meeting set
WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Board of Education will accept input on the calendar for the 2026-2027 school year at a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at its office at 1201 Pleasant Ave. The meeting will be followed by the board’s regular meeting at 6 p.m.
Library recipe club to meet
WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Public Library’s Recipe Club will meet at noon March 27 in the library’s River Room.
Members will share recipes and samples of Easter dishes.
The free group, which is open to all adults, selects a different theme for the dishes they share each month.

WELLSBURG — Local yoga instructor Taylor Provenzano will lead a storybook yoga session for children and their parents at 5 p.m. March 25 at the Brooke County Public Library.
