Two Ridges Presbyterian Church celebrated the installation and ordination of its new church leaders who will serve on the session — the governing body of the congregation. Steve Barlow and Mary Kay Bates were installed as elders, affirming their continued commitment to spiritual leadership, discernment and service within the church. Having previously been ordained, Barlow and Bates answered the call once again to guide and support the ministry and mission of the church. Tyler Clevenger was ordained and installed as an elder during the service. Ordination marks a significant milestone in the life of the church, as the congregation set Clevenger apart for leadership through prayer and the laying on of hands. As an elder, Clevenger will join the session in providing spiritual oversight, encouragement and direction for the congregation.
