Cross Creek Elementary pupils gobbled up an early Thanksgiving dinner prior to the holiday break. The meal consisted of turkey with all of the trimmings. Nicole Marshall, district food service director for Indian Creek Local Schools, dressed as a turkey to make the children’s day more festive. Music was provided and themed bracelets, stickers and temporary tattoos were distributed. Marshall took time to pose with pupils, from left, Averi June, Jaliyah Stevens and Maddison Sanders.
