Parade
Buckeye Local Junior High students did their own version of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a STEM project. The Balloon Parade Engineering Design Challenge saw students design and build a parade balloon secured to a base and able to move along a four-meter parade route with gusty winds. Designs included Hello Kitty and a turkey. Students included, from left, Trey Ryder, Aerial Sutton and Chloe Golden-Thomas.
