Edison Junior High band to give holiday show
RICHMOND — The Edison Junior High School Band will perform its Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school auditorium. The concert is free of charge, although donations will be accepted to benefit the music program.
Band Director Marc Sansone said approximately 50 students in seventh and eighth grade will take to the stage, along with the 18-member junior high Jazz Band performing classic songs and holiday tunes with a twist.
The public is invited to attend and ring in the season with song.
Songs will include: “I’m Gettin’ Nuttin’ for Christmas,” “And to All a Good Night,” “Mele Kalikimaka” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” among others.
