Christmas Eve service set

CADIZ — Cadiz Presbyterian Church will hold its Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. today. The sermon will be entitled, “The Present of an Angel.”

Church to offer Christmas meal

STEUBENVILLE — Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, located at 300 S. Fourth St., will hold its 15th-annual free Christmas Day Memorial Dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Meals will be available through dine in only. Carryout and delivery will not be offered.

Library to show movie

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library will show the movie “The Amateur,” at noon on Jan. 9. The film is rated PG-13.

The movie centers around a decoder who takes matters into his own hands after his supervisors at the CIA refuse to take action when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack.

Attendees are permitted to bring a lunch. Popcorn and water will be provided.

Dungeons and Dragons class set

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library will hold Dungeons and Dragons classes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Tuesday.

Library volunteers and game masters Daniel Melching and David Nixon will instruct the classes, which are open to all middle school and high school students. Participants will learn how to create characters, battle evil creatures and save the day, officials stated. No experience or equipment is necessary.

Gaming dice and paper for notes will be provided. Registration is not required.

Library offering Tai Chi

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Public Library is offering a weekly Tai Chi class at 11 a.m. every Monday in the River Room of the Brooke County Library. The class will be taught by instructed by Mike Turrentine.

The weekly, hour-long class is free to attend. Guests are asked to wear comfortable clothing. Registration is not required. Visit the library to participate. For information, call the library at (304) 737-1551.
