Jefferson County 4-H clubs participated in Wreaths Across America Dec. 13. Members assisted in laying wreaths on the graves of local veterans. The 4-H clubs assisting included Cross Creek Tomahawks, Country Classics and Broken Fences. The ceremony began at Harding Stadium and continued to various cemeteries. “This was another great example of how our Jefferson County 4-Hers are continuing to make our communities better,” officials said. Members taking part included, Ava Aftanas, Cross Creek Tomahawks; Noah Lucas and Jefferson County Fair Queen Natalie Lucas of the Country Classics 4-H Club, Leila Sudvary and Sylvia Sudvary of the Broken Fences 4-H Club; and members of the Cross Creek Tomahawks.
