East Garfield Elementary kindergartners visited the Jefferson County Vocational School. Children learned to fold napkins, helped make cookies and did coloring activities with the culinary arts program in the Crestview Inn Café. The field trip was a lesson on food groups and healthy choices. Hannah Creech and Zuri Forde helped pupils Kylonnie Robertson and LaWan Livingston III make cookies.
