JCVA to hold Veterans Day program

SMITHFIELD — The Jefferson County Veterans Association will hold its Veterans Day program at 3 p.m. Nov. 11 at the 4-H building in Friendship Park. Guest speaker will be Ray Hildebrand, Jefferson County Fair Board president. A light lunch will follow. Desserts will be offered, courtesy of Tim Horton’s.

STEUBENVILLE — The next board meeting of the Jefferson County Democratic Women will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Schiappa Library.

Nonprofit to hold fundraiser

EAST SPRINGFIELD — The nonprofit Let’s Fight Together will hold an indoor holiday flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the East Springfield Community Center. Proceeds will be used to help those suffering with kidney disease.
