The GFWC Wintersville Woman’s Club has been busy finalizing preparations for its annual Holiday Splendor Luncheon and Style Show Dec. 7 at St. Florian Hall. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The event will feature boutique vendor shopping, a lunch consisting of oven-roasted chicken and stuffed shells, a style show with fashions by Chicos, door prizes and a chance to win the grand prize, donated by Discovery Jewelers. Tickets will be sold during the event to enter an assortment of large basket drawings, a 50/50 drawing and a television/wreath drawing. New to the event this year will be an opportunity to win a chef’s table experience. This prize includes Pastaio Restaurant’s Chef Giuseppe personally preparing dinner for four the restaurant. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit multiple scholarships and community needs. Tickets are $35. The deadline to register is Wednesday.
