The city of New Cumberland announced its Yard of the Month winner for October. The winning yard belongs to Ed and Leslie Fields, residents of Ridge Avenue. Mayor Will White, left, presented the couple with the Yard of the Month award, a check and a yard sign. The sign will remain in the couple’s yard until the next winner is selected for November. Officials thanked everyone who participated in the monthly contest and to those who help keep the city looking beautiful.
