Library announces upcoming October events
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is inviting children to visit any of its branches and make an acromantula creepy crawly this Halloween season. Supplies can be picked up to make a Harry Potter grab-and-go craft at home beginning on Oct. 27, while supplies last.
The library announced its other activities for the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1.

Adults: Book Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29 to discuss the book “Outsider,” by Linda Castillo. Call to discuss.
Make and Mend Monday will be held at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Bring your current craft or sewing project to work on at the library.
Children: Stop in the library anytime wearing a costume anytime between Oct. 27-31. Children will be given a free book, while supplies last.
Head out to the Hightower Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 for the monthly book discussion. Call the Main Library to find out what we are reading and to borrow a copy of the book.
