Things are popping at the Soaring Eagle Café, located inside the Jefferson County Vocational School. Operated by the students enrolled in the Transition to Work program, the café serves freshly-made popcorn, cookies and Slush Puppies during lunchtime in the commons area. Proceeds raised benefit the school’s program, according to officials. Students helping to prepare treats for customers include JVS junior Addyson Meyers.
