STEUBENVILLE — Leaders from Cardinal Operating Co. paid a visit to two local nonprofits Oct. 7 to firsthand how the company’s ongoing community support is making a difference in the lives of area families.
Plant Manager Bethany Schunn, along with Kirk Murray, principal standard work specialist and Melissa Sadlowski, accounting supervisor, visited the Sycamore Youth Center and the Aim Women’s Center, and were greeted by Sycamore Executive Director Bobbyjon Bauman and Aim Executive Director Rebekah Cohen-Morris.
Throughout the past several years, the Cardinal Plant has partnered with the organizations on a variety of community service projects designed to benefit local children, youth and families. These efforts have included facility improvements, volunteer initiatives and acts of service that have helped strengthen outreach efforts across the Ohio Valley.
“It was wonderful for all three of them to get a firsthand tour of both sites and see the impact their support has helped make possible,” said Bauman. “We’re deeply grateful for Cardinal’s ongoing partnership and heart for the community.”
The Sycamore Youth Aim Women’s centers expressed appreciation for Cardinal Operating Co.’s continued investment in its mission to serve local residents.
