Upcoming senior tours announced during final meeting
WEIRTON — Upcoming senior tours for the 2025-26 season were announced during a recent Funseeker’s meeting by tour director Regina Truax.
Although the club has dissolved, the tours will continue and are open to the public.

Remaining trips during 2025 will include: Meadows Casino, Oct. 7, $20 bonus and transportation; Rock and Roll Doo Wop No. 27, Capital Theater, Wheeling, 7 p.m. show, transportation, with dinner at guests’s expense at Mehlman’s, Oct. 4; Oglebay Festival of Lights, dinner at Wilson Lodge, step-on guide and transportation, Nov. 14; Christmas in New York, Radio City Music Hall, Christmas Spectacular featuring Rockefeller Center, 9/11 Memorial Museum, Fifth Avenue shopping and more, Nov. 17-20; and Motown Capitol Theater, 7 p.m. show, dinner at guest’s expense at Mehlman’s, Dec. 13.
To date, several upcoming trips have been announced in 2026, Truax noted.
Trips will include: “Hair Spray,” Lincoln Park, May 10; “Legally Blonde,” Lincoln Park, June 28; Seneca Niagara Falls, $100 bonus, $40 for food, transportation, hotel and baggage handling, Sept. 23-25; and Branson, Mo., seven days and six nights, six shows, six breakfasts and four dinners, Oct. 4-10, 2026.
