The Outreach Committee for Weirton’s Outreach Committee at the First Christian Church spearheaded its annual school supply drive for children attending Weirton Elementary School. The church’s congregation donated a number of the school supplies and supported the drive by giving $225 to the school. Supplies purchased included crayons, notebooks, glue, glue sticks, markers, zippered pencil bags, school boxes and pencils. Along with the supplies, the church sends prayers for a safe school year.
