Indian Creek High School has announced the candidates who will be competing for the title of homecoming queen. This year’s court includes, from left, Abbey Pendleton, Cheyenne Himelrick, Gabriella Boyuk, Riley Sadler, Aziah Ade and Brooklyn Evans. The winner will be determined by the girl who selects the odd-colored rose and be crowned by last year’s homecoming queen, Lily McElroy, during the halftime portion of Friday’s homecoming football game against Brooke High School at Kettlewell Stadium in Wintersville. The game will begin at 7 p.m. A parade is scheduled before the game, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will start at Blessed Sacrament Church and continue to the high school campus. The homecoming dance will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Mingo Junction Knights of Columbus Hall.
