Town and Country Ladies League

Members of the Town and Country Ladies Golf League held a special game Aug. 14.

The Play of the Day was entitled “TTFF,” where participants only used the scores on holes No. 2, 3, 4 and 5.

The winners of the Play of the Day were: Kathy Antinone; A Flight; Diane Vandine, Debbie Hendricks and Pat Zorne, tied for B Flight; and Toni Dondzila, C Flight.

The winners for the longest drive on hole No. 2 were: Antinone, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.

The winners for the longest drive on hole No. 5 were: Megan Evans, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.

The winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 8 were: Marilyn Crew, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Shirley Guida, C Flight.

Rose Kaczmarek had low putts, with 18.

Spring Hills Ladies League

Members of the Spring Hills Ladies Golf League played a scramble Thursday evening.

The winners of the scramble were the teams of Cynde Vidas, Linda Caputo and Tammy Cox; and the team of Tammy Koutsky, Vickie Grant, Patty Gerlando and Neysa McCart.

The winners of the longest drive were: Ruth Reese, A Flight; Linda Caputo, B Flight; and Patti Powelson, C Flight.

The winners of closest to the pin were: Vidas, A Flight; Brenda McCloskey, B Flight; and Gerlando, C Flight.

Highland Springs Ladies League

The women of the Highland Springs Ladies Golf League played the front nine holes on Monday.

The Play of the Day was “Low Gross.” Winners were: Laura Froehlich, first place; Brenda McCloskey, second place; and Ruth Reese, third place.

Denise Augustine had the longest drive on hole No. 6.

Tammy Koutsky won the prize for closest to the pin on her second shot on hole No. 8.

Tammy Cox had the lowest putts for the evening.

The nine-hole league is open to all women golfers.

Play is held every Monday from May through September at the Highland Springs Golf Course in Wellsburg. Tee-off begins at 5 p.m.
