The Sycamore Youth Center and Aim Women’s Center invite the community to attend the annual Summer Block Party, scheduled to take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. The event will be held on the green space at the corner of North and Fifth streets, next to the women’s center. The event will feature inflatables, games, music and entertainment by Lynzee Ensell, 2021 Valley’s Got Talent winner; hip-hop artists J.R. Lawrence Lewis and Jeff Tyler of CBE 180 and the Dance Force Elite Rising Stars. A cookout will include free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Bobbyjon Bauman and Rebekah Cohen Morris, executive directors of the Sycamore Youth Center and Aim Women’s Center, respectively, encourage families to attend the party and enjoy an uplifting evening of fun, food and fellowship. Food and activities will be available, while supplies last.
