Library announces activities/events for Aug. 17-23

SUMMER READING PICTURES — This summer, the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County held its annual summer reading program. This year’s theme was entitled Color Our World, with area library branches holding events and activities surrounding the theme. Those at the Dillonvale-Mount Pleasant Library branch featured local children drawing pictures which correlated with what they believed Color Our World means. The children had an opportunity to show off their pictures to visitors. -- Contributed
