Wintersville Methodist Church held the closing program of its 2025 Vacation Bible School Thursday. The Rev. Clint Quillen, left, pastor of the church, along with Youth Pastor Tiffany Manley, were slimed during a foam party, as a result of the children reaching their goal in donation collections. Children and adults raised more than $6,100 for Operation Christmas Child and the Wintersville Methodist Blessing Box Ministry. Their reward for making their mission offering goal was sliming the church leaders. “We are so thankful for all the donations,” Manley stated. “We will be able to help a lot of children from around the world. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord; and I, truly, praise the Lord for blessing us with an amazing Praise Party VBS 2025!”
