The Biasi-Shuma Memorial 5K Run was held July 5 through Toronto, with participants raising $22,000 for local cancer patients, the United Way of Jefferson County and a scholarship for a Toronto High School graduate. The top finishers in each category included, from left: Austen Duggan, first place, male runners, with a time of 16:31; Christopher Fox, first place, male walkers, with a time of 30:45; Lisa Hensley, first place, female walkers, with a time of 36:13; and Madison Conrad, first place, female runners, with a time of 20 minutes.
