Roadhouse holding fundraiser today

STEUBENVILLE — Texas Roadhouse restaurants throughout Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, including the business located at 100 Mall Drive in Steubenville, will hold simultaneous fundraisers between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. today.

Officials announced Monday that 10 percent of all sales from diners will be given to the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley to assist the nonprofit agency with flood relief efforts being made throughout the area.

Diners must mention the fundraiser to their server in order for the 10 percent of their bill to be added toward the donation total, officials commented.

Class of ’59 to hold luncheon

STEUBENVILLE — The Steubenville High School Class of ’59 held its monthly luncheon on June 11. There were 18 people who took part in the event, according to class organizers.

Those class members who celebrate a birthday during the month of June were recognized. Those gathered sang happy birthday prior to everyone enjoying a piece of cake, which was brought to the luncheon by Barry and Sally Wilson.

The next luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. July 9 at Froehlich’s Classic Corner in Steubenville.
