Soulshine Yoga’s Taylor Provenzano led a stretching and bending session for children during a special Brooke County Farmers Market. The market featured several childrens’ activities, including face painting, games, viewing local emergency vehicles and receiving free plants provided by the Brooke County West Virginia University Extension Service. The farmers market can be visited at the corner of Sixth and Charles streets in Wellsburg, located at 535 Charles St. The market will be open every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to area food trucks, the weekly event will offer seasonal produce, baked goods and other locally-produced food and merchandise, organizers noted.
